Guided Healing Literacy Trauma

This 90-minute, one-on-one session with a facilitator is designed to help you identify the literacy beliefs that may be holding you back. By the end of the class, you’ll have the opportunity to release these limiting beliefs, gain insight into their origins, and begin the first steps of your new, introspective literacy journey. Read Or Die Book

Guided Healing Literacy Trauma

This 90-minute class, limited to 20 participants, is led by a facilitator and supported by a team member. You will learn how to identify the deep-seated literacy beliefs that may be creating barriers in your reading experience, and gain the tools to let go of these limiting mindsets. Through group discussions and individual reflection, you'll uncover the origins of these beliefs and understand how they’ve impacted your approach to reading. By the end of the class, you’ll take the first steps toward reshaping your literacy journey with clarity and confidence.

Guided VISCERAL Method

This 2-hour class, with a maximum of 50 participants, is guided by a facilitator and supported by an assistant. By the end of the session, you’ll be equipped to use our VISCERAL Method to help someone else work through their literacy trauma. You’ll learn how to help them recognize their experience, reassure them that they are not alone, address the beliefs that have been holding them back, and offer the opportunity to release those limiting beliefs. Finally, you’ll provide the support they need to begin their own introspective literacy journey.

Our trained facilitators guide participants through a healing process, equipping them with the tools to recognize and release negative literacy experiences, fostering a supportive environment for growth. We offer in-person sessions for our Guided VISCERAL Method, specifically designed for parent groups, schools, districts, community service organizations, libraries, and other community settings. Through these sessions, participants will learn how to use the VISCERAL Method to support others in overcoming literacy trauma.
You'll gain the skills to help individuals recognize the trauma they’ve experienced, reassure them that they are not alone in their journey, and address the limiting beliefs that may be holding them back. The training also provides strategies to guide others in releasing these beliefs and offer the compassionate support necessary for them to begin their own introspective literacy journey.
